Dr. Alisha Thompson

Dr. Alisha Thompson is dedicated to providing superior comprehensive dental care to all patients at The Family Dentist of Westlake. Known for her gentle touch and caring nature, she will ease your anxiety and ensure a welcoming and comfortable experience.

A New York City native, Dr. Alisha moved to Cleveland in 2018 to attend Case Western Reserve University. There, she obtained her Masters of Public Health and graduated with honors with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine. She holds esteemed memberships in the National Dental Honors Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Greater Cleveland Dental Society and House of Delegates of the Ohio Dental Association.

Dr. Alisha is committed to serving both her local and international communities through active involvement in outreach clinics. She organized no-cost clinics in Baja Verapaz, Guatemala, and in Ashtabula and Youngstown, Ohio where she treats countless patients and trains dental students in surgical and operative procedures. Her Spanish fluency and four years spent living abroad in Lima, Peru allow her to connect with patients beyond our borders.

An adventurer at heart, Dr. Alisha quickly grew fond of Cleveland's Midwest charm and its abundant outdoor activities. When not attending to patients, she enjoys exploring the local Metroparks, paddle boarding and kayaking on Lake Erie, and backpacking in National parks with her husband and 3 children. Dr. Alisha’s skilled expertise and vibrant energy are just a few reasons why her patients consistently choose to return.
